Sign in to the xAI console with the account you want billed.

Open Billing and add credit. A new key returns a quota error until the team has a balance.

Open API keys, choose Create key, and name it CTRON Loop.

Copy the key immediately. The console shows it once.

In CTRON Loop, open Settings, then Providers. Paste the key and choose Save and test.

Can I use my Grok subscription?
An X Premium or SuperGrok subscription covers the Grok app and does not include API access. The developer console is a separate account with its own credit.
Do I need a xAI API key to use CTRON Loop?
No. Every plan includes managed AI within its limits, so you can start straight away. Connect your own key when you want direct control over models, usage and cost. Your workflows stay the same either way.
Who bills me for Grok usage?
With your own key, usage is billed by xAI to your account, never by CTRON Loop. Your CTRON Loop plan covers the product itself.
Is my spreadsheet sent to Grok?
Dashboard figures are calculated from your file by CTRON Loop's own engine. When you ask a question about a dashboard, only the calculated totals on screen are sent to the model, never the rows. Document tasks send the document text the task needs.
Grok is a product of xAI. CTRON Loop is an independent product that connects to it with your own API key.
